Yes, yes, yes! What a beautiful review, Barb. I completely agree. I, too, was wowed by Smith's ability to make me feel the ache, the anger, and the weight of so many big questions right along with her. I adored this memoir and rushed out to buy a copy right after I returned the one I read to the library. Some books you just need to own and keep close. ❤️

I pre-ordered it, and I am still reeling from its reading. Yes, still. Allow me to also say this - from a writer (and empath's) perspective, it is truly brilliant. Brilliant!

I praise and promote this book to anyone who will listen and even to those who don't. The reader does not have to have gone through a divorce, like you mentioned. Pass it along for me, for you, for those in the world who need to read to feel. I "heart" this a million times.
